Hinduism, also known as Sanatana Dharma, is the world's oldest living religion.Lord Ganesha is said to have come into being on Chaturthi (fourth day) of Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the moon) in the Bhadrapada month of the Hindu calendar (August-September). Devotees celebrate this auspicious day as Ganesha Chaturthi. On this auspicious day, devotees bring home a Ganesh idol of the deity and worship him for 1/3/10 days based on their family and local tradition.
